While our 2020 version of the C++ programming lecture has been reviewed by some members of the C++ standardization committee and generally perceived as a quite good course that may serve as a starting point for people who wish to learn this language, we collected the feedback and used it to improve this course even…
We are a young company that has been founded in 2020. We are specialized in the development of compiler-based program analysis tools and software engineering with C and C++.
The foundation of the GaZAR UG (haftungsbeschränkt) company has been instigated as an academic spin-off led by Philipp Dominik Schubert, a researcher at the Secure Software Engineering Group at Paderborn University’s Heinz Nixdorf Institute. Philipp also is an associate of the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechatronic Systems Design (IEM). Patrick Lukas Schubert completes the founding team with his knowledge of Cloud and Digital Transformation.
We have built our sound expert knowledge on software engineering and program analysis through our research projects at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute and the Fraunhofer IEM. To continue working in these exciting fields, even after our work in academia, we decided to found a specialized company back in 2019. While working in academia, we frequently received requests for advanced program analysis tools and advice on state-of-the-art software development in C and C++. Not only did these requests continuously remind us of the ongoing demand, but many people we met on our way explicitly also suggested offering our services as a spin-off company—so, here we are.
